Warranty
Every Sotae pan is made from pure titanium, one of the most durable and safest materials you can cook on. We believe in it completely, so we back every piece with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, for as long as you own it.
What the warranty covers
We will repair, replace, or refund any Sotae product with a genuine manufacturing fault, including:
- Faults in the materials or the way it was made
- Structural problems under normal home use, such as a handle working loose or the base separating
- Any issue our team confirms to be a manufacturing defect
What the warranty does not cover
Because titanium is built for a lifetime of real cooking, the warranty does not cover the everyday marks of a well-loved pan, including:
- Normal cosmetic wear, surface marks, and knife scratches
- Natural color changes, patina, or the rainbow tones titanium develops over time
- Damage from drops, knocks, or accidents
- Damage caused by not following the Care and Use guidance in our website
A note on color changes
Over time your Sotae pan may take on warm golden, bronze, or rainbow tones. This is natural titanium oxidation, the same property that makes titanium trusted for medical implants. It is completely safe, it does not affect how your pan cooks, and it is a sign of real titanium, not a fault. Read more on our Care and Use page.
